The palm is made of synthetic microsuede leather, a highly resistant fabric that provides a good grip on ski poles. The over-mitt is designed to handle ski touring equipment without damaging it. Additional features include absorbent fleece on the thumb to wipe away sweat and nasal mucus, and silicone on the thumb and index finger so you can use your smartphone without removing your glove. On the wrist, the elastic band prevents air from seeping in. What's more, the safety leash allows you to remove the glove without dropping it when handling hiking gear.
