Product Description
The Kentucky Anatomic Short Girth is an anatomically shaped dressage girth in synthetic leather, without sheepskin. You use it under a dressage saddle or any other saddle with long girth straps. The shape leaves the elbows free, and the synthetic leather is reinforced with nylon against stretching and repels dirt, sweat and water. A plain, easy-care girth for everyday use.
About this dressage girth
Kentucky calls this model the Anatomic Short Girth. It is a short girth: the buckles sit under your leg, because the saddle's girth straps reach below the saddle flap. You use this kind of girth with dressage saddles and other saddles with long girth straps.
The girth is anatomically shaped: it is shaped so the elbows can move freely. The synthetic leather is reinforced with nylon so the girth does not stretch, and it repels dirt, sweat and water. The composition is synthetic leather and polyester.
Extra keepers hold the ends of the girth straps neatly in place, and there is a D-ring in the centre for schooling aids. For this model Kentucky mentions no elastic and no sheepskin.
If you want the same anatomical short girth with a soft layer against the horse, there is the Kentucky Sheepskin Anatomic Short Girth, with removable artificial sheepskin. At Maddelin this version without sheepskin is available in Black, in 55 cm, 60 cm and 65 cm.
