The innovative Match system optimises engagement for any MTB clip-in system, whether Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe is supplied with Match Shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position so that it can be ridden immediately with Crankbrothers pedals.Match BoxThe bevelled Match Cleat Box provides easy access to the pedals at the front and rear and prevents mud from getting in. An extra stiff carbon fibre shaft transfers power efficiently when climbing or sprinting.Match compoundThe medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows easy entry and exit of the pedals and is hard enough to withstand wear and tear. The radial cleat pattern around the cleat ensures smooth release of the pedal body.Match outsoleThe tread pattern is designed for traction off the bike. Directionally angled and spaced toe and heel lugs provide traction when going uphill and downhill on steep terrain. The bevelled toe provides surefootedness on steep terrain.Closure systemThe classic lacing system offers a smooth closure with round laces and a pocket for securely stowing the laces.High-quality materialsThe Crankbrothers shoes have a synthetic upper with high-quality materials for breathability, protection and comfort.
