    Product Description

FINIS Iso paddles are strapless technique paddles designed to isolate specific muscle groups and sharpen stroke awareness. Their asymmetric, convex shape creates a deliberate imbalance during the catch, forcing swimmers to adjust pressure and maintain a level hand position through the catch and pull. This self-correcting design improves feel for the water and highlights sweep tendencies before the catch. Use the outside edge (grey on left, yellow on right) to emphasise triceps and trapezius engagement; use the inside edge (yellow on left, grey on right) to target the pectoral, bicep and deltoid muscles. Recommended for stroke-specific training across all four strokes: outside isolation for freestyle and backstroke, inside isolation for breaststroke and butterfly. Ergonomic, palm-positive shape keeps the paddle aligned during proper technique and makes the Iso ideal for drill work and focused training sessions.

    composition

The Iso paddles from FINIS are strapless paddles designed to isolate specific muscle groups, develop proper hand position and heighten stroke awareness. The FINIS Iso paddles are uniquely designed to create an imbalance in the catch phase of a stroke, which forces swimmers to apply more pressure on either side of the paddle in order to maintain a proper stroke. The variance encourages swimmers to pay increased attention to hand position in the water, keeping it level and consistent throughout the catch and pull of each stroke. Using the edge on the inside allows swimmers to isolate and engage the pectoral, bicep and deltoid muscles. Using the edge on the outside allows swimmers to isolate and engage the triceps and trapezius muscles. Features & Benefits: PALM POSITIVE Paddles will remain in place with proper stroke technique TECHNIQUE PADDLE Intended for use on drills and stroke-specific training SELF-CORRECT TECHNIQUE Increases the ‘feel for the water’ and allows swimmers to make adjustments to improve stroke technique STRAPLESS DESIGN Ergonomic shape designed to fit the natural contour of the hand RECOMMENDED STROKE ISOLATIONS Versatile tool for all four swim strokes. Outside Isolation: backstroke & freestyle Inside Isolation: breaststroke & butterfly HEIGHTENS STROKE AWARENESS Convex design brings awareness to sweep tendencies prior to catch OUTSIDE ISOLATION Using the edge on the outside (grey on left, yellow on right) allows swimmers to isolate and engage the triceps and trapezius muscles INSIDE ISOLATION Using the edge on the inside (yellow on left, grey on right) allows swimmers to isolate and engage the pectoral, bicep and deltoid muscles
