The Burton Photon is equipped with a Boa closure for a quick yet adjustable fit. The outer shell is designed with various panels for support and flexibility. It has two Boa closures, one for the upper part of the boot that runs behind your foot above your heel for additional support, and another around the forefoot for independent adjustment. The inner boot is thermomoldable and has an easy-to-use cuff for foot safety. The sole is slightly thinner for better ground feel without sacrificing comfort. It provides good grip for walking and seeking fresh snow. The 2022 version comes with a more mature look. The Burton Photon is suitable for advanced to expert riders with above-average stiffness, perfect for carving, powder descents, or hitting big kickers. With a stiffness rating of 7, it allows some margin for error while riding. There is also a wide version available for broader feet.
