If you have developed a powerful casting technique and are looking for extreme casting performance, the Ultegra XR Surf is an essential option. Made from the most advanced carbon sheets, the extra fast action of these rods provides an exceptional response from the blank after loading and converts the energy of your casts into speed, greatly increasing the reachable distances. Available in many versions, no matter which Ultegra XR Surf you choose, you can be sure that you will maximise your long-distance casting potential. The extreme long-distance casting performance of the Ultegra XR Surf is generated by the combination of a selection of advanced carbon technologies from SHIMANO. The high modulus Full Carbon blank also contains the exclusive Spiral X and Hi-Power X technologies that significantly reduce blank twist under tension and increase tip speed during casting. Available in many versions, some equipped with Fuji Lowrider Alconite guides and Fuji DPS reel seats, all rods feature the Shimano Cast Control Grip for easier two-handed grip during casting.
