As its name suggests, the Fox Float SL shock is the smallest and lightest shock in the Fox range.
It offers exceptional pedaling efficiency and performance optimized for XC and racing. It replaces the Fox DPS SV with a completely new architecture. Basically, its main piston, valve and floating piston are scaled-down versions of those found on the Float.
For this reason, it is 58g lighter than the Float, with a claimed weight which makes it lighter.
Compression damping is externally adjustable via a three-position lever with open, medium and firm settings.
The shock can be adjusted manually or by cable to switch between settings. Rebound damping is externally adjustable via the red knob in 11 steps.
The Float SL's air volume can also be adjusted with a choice of three volume spacer sizes.
