This pair of lightweight aluminium wheels is a clear choice for anyone looking to easily replace their original wheels. The Ksyrium S Disc can significantly enhance the performance of any bike and provides an easy entry into Mavic quality that doesn't cut corners.
The Ksyrium S Disc is 40g lighter than the previous Ksyrium UST Disc, while being stronger and stiffer laterally. The stiffness is optimised thanks to Fore technology. The upper bridge is un-drilled, which improves strength and stiffness and eliminates the need for a rim strip, saving an additional 30g per wheel. The new rim shape makes fitting and removing tyres easier than ever, and our UST Tubeless technology enhances rolling resistance and grip while reducing the risk of punctures. These rims are made in France, at our aluminium rim factory.
Our new Infinity hub platform optimises stiffness and power transfer with highly controlled spoke tension, while our Instant Drive 360 freehub combined with our automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto) offers quick engagement and great durability. The Ksyrium S Disc not only rolls fast but also looks fast. The matte-painted hubs, invisible welds on the rim, and deep black spokes give this wheelset a premium look that stands out from the crowd. Designed specifically for disc brakes, it is compatible with a 12x100 axle at the front and 12x142 at the back, and can be converted to Quick Release with the provided adaptors. It is available for Shimano and Sram XD-Road cassettes, and can be converted for Campagnolo with an optional driver body. For Center Lock discs only.
