Thanks to its 'Interlock' design, this housing is easier to install than a standard BB86 Pressfit housing. Simply position the two bearings on either side of the frame and screw the two parts together. Using a Shimano gearbox spanner, all you have to do is tighten the whole thing down!The BB86 design offers a number of advantages, including greater rigidity and better power transfer thanks to its wider bottom bracket. It is also compatible with different types of crankset, such as hollow axle cranksets.The bottom bracket is fitted with high-precision sealed ring bearings, ensuring smooth, high-performance pedalling. It is built around a CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminium body, which contributes to its rigidity during pedalling.Features: 7075-T6 aluminium body. 100% sealed bearings.
