The iron temperature should be around 8-10 seconds for skating or alpine skiing. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability. Scrape after waiting about a minute. It's important to have a good waxing iron to effectively melt the wax. Recommended iron temperature is 155 °C.
