Product Description
A COMPLETE PROTECTION IN A MINIMAL FORMAT
The Virgo Access helmet is designed for those prioritizing safety over performance, suitable for electric bike and scooter users as well as traditional cyclists. Its universal design and various colors make it suitable for both women and men.
DESIGNED FOR ELECTRIC MOBILITY
With the rise of new electric mobility, the need for safety is greater than with a traditional bike helmet. Speeds are faster and impacts more severe. With a larger protective area than standard bike helmets, the full face Virgo Access helmet adapts to the effort and needs of journeys on electric bikes and scooters. Its modern design combines safety, lightness, and comfort. The openings allow for optimized and refreshing airflow throughout the head. Its monocoque structure ensures a solid connection between the chin guard and the top of the helmet, allowing for shock absorption distributed across the entire helmet while protecting the chin, jaw, and lower face.
WHAT REQUIREMENTS DOES THIS HELMET MEET?
It complies with European regulation EN1078 and Speedbike standard NTA-7887. This European standard outlines the requirements and test methods applicable to helmets used for cranial protection during urban biking, roller skating, scootering, and skateboarding. The standard for speed pedelecs allows protection for speeds up to 45 km/h.
WHY CHOOSE A FULL FACE HELMET?
Bike helmets are designed to meet opposing needs, providing protection while being as light as possible to not hinder the cyclist's physical efforts. They have always been a constraint on effort. By adding facial protection while maintaining a reduced weight suitable for effort, greater protection is provided for the lower face. By keeping a shell over the face in case of impact, injuries caused by the helmet shifting backward and exposing the face during a collision are avoided.
HOW TO ADJUST MY HELMET?
For maximum protection, this helmet should fit snugly against the head, and the tightening system must always be correctly adjusted, without being tight on the forehead. When the straps are properly adjusted, the helmet should not tilt forward, backward, or sideways. To this end, the cyclist can choose from three sizes.
HOW TO CHOOSE MY HELMET SIZE?
Measure your head circumference above the ears to know your helmet size. If you are between two sizes, it is better to choose the larger size. It is crucial to choose a helmet of the correct size and properly fitted. For children, never buy a helmet too big on the assumption they will grow into it.
WHY SHOULD MY HELMET BE REPLACED EVERY 5 YEARS?
Helmets should be replaced every 5 years. Depending on usage and maintenance conditions, the impact-absorbing material inside the helmet can age and lose some of its absorbing properties compared to a new helmet. To know the age of your helmet, simply look at the production date inside the helmet.
RETURN CONDITIONS FOR HELMETS
Make sure the product suits you. If not, return it according to our return policy: with all instructions, tags, and, if applicable, original packaging.
HOW TO MAINTAIN MY HELMET?
Do not apply paint, detergents, or other chemicals. Do not expose your helmet to temperatures above 50°C or direct sunlight for long periods. For maintenance, clean only with water, do not use detergents.
