After a long period of inactivity, it’s important to check their autonomy. The storage location of your equipment will play a crucial role in the lifespan of a lithium battery. If exposed to temperatures that are too low or too high, batteries tend to degrade. Ideal storage temperatures are between 10° and 15°. At ambient temperatures around 20 degrees, a battery loses about 3% of its charge per month. Our advice: A charge cycle every 4 to 6 months at a minimum during prolonged inactivity helps Lithium batteries maintain their effectiveness. Another point, storing them with a charge level between 55 and 75% allows for increased longevity.
