The superior performance of the Quantum EVO, featuring a metatarsal width of 99 mm, is based on an innovative dual-part construction of the shell and upper made from carbon-reinforced polyamide, combined with an anatomical fit. This construction includes an extremely strong and rigid outer shell, as well as a sole that offers great freedom of movement during long ascents. The optimized central opening with an extendable gaiter allows for easy on and off despite the hardness of the shell. The lightweight design and EVO Dual Link upper with a movement range of 65° reduce effort while walking. Upon reaching the summit, the slightly raised upper with shin padding can be easily locked using the Hike & Ride hook and Power Strap Velcro, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit while providing optimal power transmission. Additionally, the wide Velcro strap with a memory function and Quick Release attachments only needs to be adjusted once. Thanks to the extreme rigidity of the shell material, all skier impulses are transmitted to the ski without energy loss, providing optimal downhill performance and maximum ski control. The ID Touring Dual Density liner with AUTOFIT padding is particularly lightweight and ensures perfect heel hold, pleasant temperature, and superior comfort. MyFit technology allows the Quantum EVO to adapt to foot shape. The Vibram rocker sole with varying hardness levels offers good grip in snow and during climbing while providing flexible power transmission to the bindings and ski.
