The KED CROM is an extremely lightweight versatile helmet, ideal for trail and cycling tours. KED retailers can confirm from experience that this helmet is not only aesthetic in photos but also fits well when worn. Thanks to the K-FIT adjustment system, the helmet fits like a glove and feels forgotten even after several hours. Despite the 23 ventilation openings that ensure optimal cooling even during climbs, we have made no compromises on safety – typical of KED, typical of Made in Germany. In the maxSHELL® manufacturing process, the inner EPS shell is permanently bonded to the outer microshell after the foaming process through a special adhesive process. This sandwich composite features superior elasticity. The maxSHELL® process offers very good damping properties and is extremely robust and durable. A FIDLOCK® buckle allows for safe and simple closure of the strap system. Thanks to the combination of magnetic force and mechanical locking, the FIDLOCK® buckle nearly closes on its own and can be operated with one hand. The QUICKSTOPP system at the center of the helmet allows quick adjustment of the strap length and prevents it from slipping from one side to the other. Two QUICKSTOPP variations are used depending on the helmet generation. If the buckle is too far to the side after shortening the strap length, open the QUICKSTOPP lever and pull the strap to the other side of the helmet until the buckle is centered. The QUICKSAFE® adjustment system allows precise adjustment of the headband with a simple turn and securely locks it in the chosen position. The integrated reflector ensures excellent visibility in traffic.
