As the flagship model of the Obex family, the POC Obex BC Mips helmet is designed for ski touring, providing both comfort and safety. This helmet features protection that adapts to various ski and snowboard styles thanks to its Mips reinforcement, protecting against rotational impacts. The Obex BC consists of an EPS inner liner, a PC shell, and a thicker ABS outer shell compared to the Obex Mips, with Aramid inserts that enhance the helmet's structural integrity and increase protection against penetration. This results in increased safety and durability. The helmet is equipped with an NFC chip for medical identification, allowing rescuers to access vital medical information on-site to make the best decisions. Additionally, a RECCO® reflector improves search capabilities. The internal adjustment system covers the head circumference for a secure and comfortable fit without the need to change padding. Adjustable ventilation covers let users tailor airflow for maximum comfort in all weather conditions, while additional integrated front vents allow for mask ventilation, preventing fogging.
