The superior performance of the Quantum EVO W with a forefoot width of 99 mm is based on the innovative two-part design of the shell and cuff, combined with an anatomical fit. This construction features an extremely strong and stiff outer shell, as well as a full-length sole that provides great freedom of movement in ascent. The carbon-reinforced polyamide increases the stiffness of the construction. The optimized central opening with an extendable gaiter allows for easy entry and exit of the boot. The ascent is facilitated by its lightweight design and the EVO Dual Link cuff that offers a range of motion of 65 degrees. Once the ascent is complete, the raised cuff with tibia padding can be easily locked using the Hike & Ride hook and the velcro Power Strap, ensuring remarkable fit and optimal power transfer. Additionally, the wide velcro strap features a memory function and Quick Release attachments and needs to be adjusted only once. Thanks to the extreme stiffness of the shell material, all skier impulses are transferred to the ski without energy loss, for optimal performance and maximum ski control. The lightweight multi-layer ID Touring liner with AUTOFIT padding ensures perfect heel hold, comfortable temperature, and superior comfort. The MyFit technology allows the Quantum EVO W to be adapted to the shape of the foot. The profiled Vibram sole (Rocker) with varying hardness levels offers good grip in snow and during climbing, as well as smooth power transfer to bindings and skis.
