The 0.3 mm thick titanium layer on the coupling platform creates an impressive, direct mass transfer from ski movement to ski action. Keeping the titanal only underfoot creates an incredibly fun and responsive turning experience, immediately upon initiation, with little effort.Although designed with short turning radius objectives in mind, the 4-spoke sidecut and multi-layer hybrid wood/green core dramatically improve the ski's liveliness and maneuverability for all shapes of turn. With its very low weight and the addition of the suspension tip and tail (basically a rubber "bumper" for anything the ski comes into contact with), it's also a fantastic touring ski.
