Its narrower profile reduces rolling resistance on tarmac, making the tyre noticeably faster, while the fine, dense tread ensures solid grip on sand and fast gravel. The SA‑254 is also widely used in speedrower racing, where its low, compact tread provides excellent cornering grip and strong starts. Its real‑world dimensions are almost identical to the Maxxis Larsen TT 1.9, making it an excellent replacement. The flexible bead combined with Skinwall technology keeps the weight low, making it ideal both for competitions (highly recommended by clubs in Poland) and for everyday training.
