Designed and manufactured in Italy by FABBRI, a bicycle rack specialist for decades.Here, the Made in Italyquality is evident in the construction: steel structure treated with cataphoresis coating(the anti-corrosion process used in the automotive industry) and finished with textured powder coating, while the rails and arms are made of anodized aluminum.
The Gitano Special is designed for a wide range of uses: 2 electric bikes (50 kg), a foot-operated tilting mechanismto access the trunk without unloading, and a compact folding designfor easy storage. It comes pre-assembled and can be expanded to carry a 3rdbike.
Compatible with almost all bicycles:road bikes, gravel bikes, hybrid bikes, 26"/27.5"/29" MTBs, e-bikes, and plus-size MTBs. Fits wheels from 20" to 29"/700C, tires up to 3 inches (76 mm), and frame holders designed for bike frames from 20 to 120 mm. Only fat bikes exceed the supported dimensions.
Description
The GITANO SPECIAL is built around a central high-strength steel structure protected by cataphoresis coating and finished with textured powder coating. The anodized aluminum rails and arms help keep the weight down to just 17 kg.
In everyday use, two features make all the difference:

• The foot-operated tilt mechanismtilts the loaded rack to provide access to the trunk.
• The foldable railsreduce storage space when the bike rack is not in use.
  Attachment to the towball is achieved using a clamping lever with fine adjustment, secured by an integrated key lock.
  The 230 mm spacing between the railshelps prevent contact and scratches between bikes. Frame holders for 20 to 120 mm frames and tire compatibility up to 3 inches mean that almost all road bikes, gravel bikes, hybrids, MTBs, and e-bikes can be carried.
