Hybrid and Lightweight Design
The Petzl Irvis Hybrid Leverlock Universal combines steel at the front for performance on ice and aluminum at the back to lighten the overall weight. This mixed design results in a compact and high-performing crampon, optimized for glacier hiking, ski touring, and approaches.
Stability and Efficiency on Snow and Ice
The two wide front points provide better flotation on snow while the steel composition at the front allows for steps on ice and some mixed passages. The 10 points ensure effective propulsion and good stability during progression.
