The improved cam design and RigidFlex technology ensure smooth bending of the friend body. The friend stays in place and is easy to handle. The offset size guarantees you have the right size for any type of cracks and fissures. Irregular cracks dominate most climbing terrains, and these offsets allow you to secure them effortlessly. The Camalot Z4 was developed alongside BD athletes dedicated to traditional climbing, including Hazel Findlay, Carlo Traversi, Sam Elias, and Babsi Zangerl. It is designed for comfortable one-handed gripping and remains in place even when bent. Thanks to independently floating wires, the Camalot Z4 does not bend under tension when placed in a crack. If it is in a crack, it does not 'travel' when pulled in the direction. Larger sizes of friends utilize dual construction, allowing bending in all directions. A simple design is implemented in smaller sizes to prevent twisting during hard pulls. Compared to the older C3 version, there are four cams that are sandblasted for better friction properties. The friend is available in much smaller sizes than previous versions.
