The ATC XP belay device from Black Diamond features multiple friction modes and a revised design, making it 30% lighter than the previous model. Includes a matching Mini Pearabiner screw carabiner. The Mini Pearabiner is a compact lightweight locking carabiner with a keylock nose and screw closure. The slightly larger diameter ensures excellent performance when belaying and rappelling. Features: ATC-XP: proven geometry, now 30% lighter, HF mode with three times higher friction and braking force than in RF mode, material cutouts in the device body for reduced weight, the thick cable hardly deforms and therefore cannot get caught between the ropes - Carabiner: closure sleeve locks the snapper and not the nose, preventing it from blocking under load, keylock nose cannot snag, slightly smaller than the RockLock.
