The key technology used for the Torpedo is dropstitch. This construction involves the use of thousands of high-strength threads that are woven between two layers of PVC. These threads are connected by special adhesive points, creating a rigid structure that maintains the kayak's shape.
This dropstitch construction allows the Torpedo to remain lightweight and easy to manoeuvre while offering excellent stability and increased rigidity. It can support the user's weight without flexing or deforming, allowing for smooth and precise navigation.
