Skandika Sleeper Technology
A special coating on the outer tent around the sleeping cabins absorbs almost 100% of sunlight. Want to sleep in, get the kids to bed a bit earlier or enjoy a proper midday nap? With Skandika Sleeper Technology, all of that becomes much easier.
Dark sleeping cabins
For maximum flexibility, each cabin can either be closed completely for total darkness or used with the mesh doors in place so fresh air can circulate. That way it doesn’t get quite as dark, but insects stay outside where they belong.
Flexible privacy
Two large sleeping cabins for up to 5 people each are included. Both can be divided with a roll-up room divider whenever you want extra privacy – ideal for bigger families or groups who still like their own space at night.
Protected entrances
Large windows and doors on opposite sides of the living area give you lots of set-up options and ensure good airflow throughout the tent. Mosquito mesh on the main entrances keeps midges and other insects out, even when you like to leave the doors open.
Fully sewn-in groundsheet
The groundsheet is firmly sewn to the outer tent across the whole footprint. This offers excellent protection from crawling insects, draughts and rising damp. Wind and weather stay outside – inside it stays warm, clean and cosy.
Sun canopy
With the two included upright poles, one of the entrances can be turned into a shade-giving sun canopy. Whether you choose the front or rear entrance, you can create a sheltered, shady spot in just a few moments wherever the sun happens to be.
Well thought-out features
Organiser pockets help even the messiest campers keep their things tidy. Weather-protected, permanent roof vents (with mosquito mesh, of course) provide a constant supply of fresh air, and a practical ceiling hook lets you hang a camping lantern safely in the centre of the tent.
Smart windows
To bring more daylight into the sleeping areas, there are small PVC windows low down on the outer tent exactly where the cabins have practical half-moon zip openings. This way, you can let extra light into the cabins during the day without losing privacy.
Fully weatherproof
The combination of steel and fibreglass poles keeps the tent stable, even in strong winds. The 5,000 mm waterproof rating of the PU-coated outer fabric and the carefully taped seams provide reliable protection and comfort, even in heavy rain and stormy conditions.
