Product Description
The Turin 12 is the largest dome tent in the skandika family. With three separate sleeping cabins for up to 4 people each and a spacious central living area, it is ideal for large families and groups of friends. It is also a great option for smaller groups who enjoy having extra space and plenty of freedom to move around.
Cabins with more privacy
Instead of being positioned directly next to each other, the three sleeping cabins are arranged in a star shape, giving everyone that little bit of extra privacy that makes holidays with several people more comfortable. Made from breathable material and featuring sewn-in groundsheets, the sleeping areas are well protected. Ventilation openings also help to keep the climate inside the cabins pleasantly balanced.
Bright, welcoming living area
Thanks to the two large windows, the central living area is bright, friendly and perfect as a sheltered communal space when the weather is not ideal for being outdoors. The upper part of each window is mesh and the lower part is clear foil, and both are fitted with a weatherproof, opaque cover for more privacy and protection.
Plenty of freedom to move
The large central living area links all the cabins and forms the hub of the tent for shared activities. With a standing height of 200 cm, the high dome offers plenty of headroom, even for taller campers. A matching, waterproof loose groundsheet for this central area is included.
Protection from the sun
Using the two strong, robust steel poles, the tent’s front door can be converted into a practical sun canopy. This creates a shaded area at the entrance, providing welcome relief on hot, sunny days.
Weatherproof and stable
When the weather turns bad, the 5,000 mm hydrostatic head and high-quality taped seams ensure the interior stays reliably dry. The strong yet flexible fibreglass poles cope well even with stronger winds. Reflective guy lines help to reduce the risk of tripping in the dark.
Clever details
Well thought-out details add extra comfort to this tent. Colour-coded poles make pitching easier, and tidy campers will appreciate the organiser pockets for safely storing important small items. Under the central dome there is also a hook for hanging a camping lantern.
