Product Description
The largest dome tent in the skandika range is the Turin 12 – and now this spacious all‑rounder comes in a fresh new colour combination and with skandika Sleeper Technology. With three separate sleeping cabins for up to 4 people each and a large central living area, the Turin 12 Sleeper is ideal for big families and groups of friends. It’s also a great choice for smaller groups who simply like having extra room and freedom to move.
Cabins with extra privacy
Instead of sitting directly side by side, the three sleeping cabins are arranged in a star shape, giving everyone that bit more privacy and making holidays with a crowd noticeably more comfortable. Made from breathable fabric with sewn‑in groundsheets, the sleeping areas are well protected, while additional ventilation openings help keep the climate inside pleasant.
skandika Sleeper Technology
A special coating on the outer tent above the sleeping cabins absorbs almost 100% of sunlight. Want to sleep in, put the kids to bed a bit earlier or enjoy a quiet daytime nap? No problem. The cabins can be closed completely or just with mosquito nets, so fresh air can still circulate and more daylight can come in when you want it.
Child-friendly cabin design
On this version of the Turin 12 Sleeper, the cabin doors do not have the full black coating. The cabins stay nicely dark for sleeping, but not pitch black – often more comfortable and reassuring for children.
Bright, welcoming living area
Thanks to two large windows, the central living area is bright, inviting and ideal as a sheltered communal space when the weather isn’t great. Each window has mesh in the upper section and clear film in the lower section, plus an opaque, weatherproof cover for privacy and extra protection when needed.
Plenty of headroom and space
The large central dome links the cabins and forms the hub for cooking, playing or relaxing together. With a standing height of 200 cm, even taller campers can move around comfortably. A matching, waterproof groundsheet for this central living area is included, adding extra comfort and protection underfoot.
Shade from the sun
Using the two strong steel poles supplied, the main entrance door can be set up as a practical sun canopy. This creates a shaded area at the entrance – perfect on hot, sunny days when you want a cooler, sheltered place to sit.
Weatherproof and stable
In poor weather, the high 5,000 mm water column on the outer fabric and quality taped seams keep the inside dry and protected. The strong yet flexible fibreglass poles cope well with gusty winds, and reflective guy lines help reduce the risk of tripping after dark.
Smart details
Thoughtful touches make the tent even easier to live with. Colour‑coded poles make pitching more straightforward, while organiser pockets help keep important bits and pieces safely stored and close to hand. Under the main dome there is also a hook for hanging a camping lamp.
For family and friends
The Turin 12 Sleeper is ideal for large families and groups of friends, and just as appealing for smaller groups who place a high value on space and comfort. After your trip, the robust carry bag makes transport simple and keeps the tent clean and dust‑free until your next outdoor adventure.
