Straight-wall design
The skandika Montana 8 offers excellent freedom of movement, and the almost vertical side walls mean you can really use the full floor area. It’s ideal for family holidays, bank holiday weekends with friends or longer stays on a campsite.
Protected sleeping cabins
Each sleeping cabin comes with a sewn-in groundsheet to help keep out damp and dirt. Mosquito nets on the doors of the cabins keep insects at bay, so you can relax and drift off without unwanted visitors buzzing around.

Stable and weatherproof
A robust mix of steel and fibreglass poles keeps the tent steady even when the wind picks up. The outer tent’s PU-coated fabric with a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head, together with carefully taped seams, offers reliable protection in bad weather and helps keep the interior dry when the rain sets in.
Smart windows
Small plastic windows are positioned low down on the outer tent to bring more daylight into the sleeping areas, right where the cabins have practical half-moon zip openings. This makes the cabins feel brighter during the day without sacrificing weather protection.
Privacy
Two dark sleeping cabins for 2 people each and one larger cabin with an optional divider for up to 4 people sit at opposite ends of the generous living area. This layout gives families and groups a good balance of shared space and personal space, so everyone can enjoy a bit of privacy.
Great ventilation
Multiple permanent vents, protected from the outside, keep fresh air flowing through the tent. Even with the doors closed, this helps maintain a pleasant indoor climate and reduces condensation, so the tent feels fresher overnight and in the morning.
