Building on our popular Pitea range of awnings for different vehicle types, the Pitea 4 Flex Protect is the centrepiece of an innovative modular system. This comfortable dome tent is designed to offer maximum flexibility and, thanks to its modular extensions, can be adapted to almost any camping set-up. Zips on two of the tent walls allow you to attach separately available tunnels for different vehicle types.

The free-standing Pitea 4 Flex Protect is the heart of a well-thought-out modular system and can be combined with separately available tunnel modules to suit different vehicle types and camping situations.
Perfect partner for a Pitea Flex tunnel
Matching Pitea Flex tunnels are available for the tailgate of an SUV or the sliding side door of a panel van or minivan. There is also an extended van tunnel with side doors for use on the tailgate – the ideal way to turn tent and vehicle into one generous living space.
Cleverly positioned connection points
Zips on two of the tent walls allow you to attach a vehicle tunnel either to the side or opposite the main entrance. This gives you the freedom to choose the set-up that best fits your pitch and makes the most of the available space.
Free-standing tent for up to four people
With its square footprint and dome-style construction, this single-skin tent offers generous space for up to four people – or lots of room and extra comfort for two campers who prefer a large airbed and more freedom to move.
Fixed front canopy with side panels
The large, fixed front canopy with side walls sits at the front of the tent and protects you from sun, wind and prying eyes – ideal as a sheltered retreat or as extra storage space at the entrance for shoes, boxes or outdoor gear.
Multi-function door with smart design
The large door under the canopy features a PVC window, mosquito net and inner blinds. Depending on your needs, you can roll it halfway towards the centre or fully to the side and secure it, adjusting light, airflow and privacy as you like.
Side entrance turns into a sun canopy
The additional side door with a large clear window and mosquito net can be turned into a sun canopy using the supplied steel poles – perfect for creating extra shade on bright, sunny days.
Panoramic windows for light and fresh air
Large, floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows with mosquito nets provide a great view and let plenty of light and fresh air into the tent. Opaque inner blinds ensure privacy whenever you want it.
Direct access to the vehicle
When a modular tunnel is attached, the mesh window can be opened to create a passageway, giving you direct access to your vehicle. The tunnel can be fixed in two positions – at the side of the tent or opposite the front canopy.
UV protection 50+ for longer life
The tent fabric has a UV protection factor of 50+, helping to protect it from becoming brittle or cracked under strong sun. This improves durability, helps the tent heat up less quickly and supports a more pleasant climate inside.
Waterproof and wind-stable
With robust tent fabric, a high waterproof rating of 5,000 mm and carefully taped seams, the Pitea 4 Flex Protect is fully waterproof. The sturdy poles made from shatterproof fibreglass keep the tent stable even when the wind picks up.
Thoughtful details for extra comfort
Practical extras such as a hook for hanging a camping lamp, organiser pockets, a weather-protected cable entry and reflective guy lines all add comfort, convenience and safety to everyday life on the campsite.
