With the Hetta tipis, the Skandika tipi family now gets a bright and welcoming new addition. The Hetta 460 Protect Plus features an extended entrance area, so up to 6 people can roll out their sleeping bags and sleep comfortably while still having plenty of room for luggage and furniture.
A space wonder with almost 3 metres of height
This bright, airy tipi tent, with a height of 295 cm, offers comfortable sleeping space for up to 6 people – or a huge amount of room to move when used by just two. The extension at the front doesn’t just give the tent a distinctive look, it also creates extra usable space – a big advantage on any camping trip.
Extended entrance area
The practical front extension with its large, central entrance door provides easy access to the inside of the tent and a sheltered spot for muddy shoes and wet jackets, so they don’t end up straight in the main living area. The door can be rolled to the side and secured.
Flexible use and plenty of space
You can happily fill the clever extension area with bags, gear or toys, because the Hetta 460 Protect Plus also has a second entrance at the side that leads directly into the main area – maximum flexibility.
Doors with a view and protection
Both entrances are fitted with practical double doors: a weatherproof outer door to keep the inside nice and dry, plus an inner mesh door that reliably keeps insects out while still letting in fresh air and daylight.
Glamping – the luxurious way to camp
The tipi really shines when it comes to glamping. For glamping as a couple, there’s loads of room for small furniture, plants and all kinds of decorations – for a real touch of luxury on your camping holiday. Add lamps and fairy lights and the tipi glows at night like a beautifully oversized lantern.
Bright and well ventilated
In the main area, large crescent-shaped mesh windows provide plenty of light and fresh air. They can be closed from the inside to make them weatherproof and opaque whenever needed. Openings at the peak of the roof are protected by mesh and outer covers and form part of the proven ventilation concept that makes tipis so comfortable.
Great views even in the rain
Two large triangular PVC windows in the extension offer a lovely view outside and keep the interior bright and welcoming even when the mesh windows are closed due to bad weather. For extra privacy, they are fitted with internal blinds.
Fully weatherproof and secure
With a 3,000 mm hydrostatic head, carefully taped seams and a fully sewn-in groundsheet, the Hetta stands up to even poor weather conditions. The combination of steel and fibreglass poles ensures stability, and robust reflective guy lines with aluminium adjusters provide extra security in wind and low light.
Sun protection and durability
In hot, sunny conditions the Hetta scores with a UV protection rating of UPF 50+. This treatment helps prevent the fabric from becoming brittle or cracked and contributes to a long lifespan. Another big plus: the tent doesn’t heat up as quickly in the sun, helping to maintain a pleasant indoor climate.
