Kiruna is the northernmost town in Sweden and home to the world’s largest underground iron ore mine. It is also famous for its breathtaking displays of the Northern Lights. Together with the Swedish word “Jord” for earth or ground, this town inspired our rechargeable Skandika Kiruna Jord camping lantern. With its rounded shape and simple black design, it is reminiscent of a classic mining lantern and reliably shines a light into the dark.

Rechargeable via USB
The lamp runs on two rechargeable batteries, which are already pre-installed in the compartment in the base. Recharging is quick and easy using the USB cable, which plugs into the port on the back of the lamp.
Practical powerbank function
The integrated powerbank function is particularly handy when camping, allowing you to charge small electronic devices and smartphones in an emergency – even when no extra power source is available.
For standing, hanging or carrying
The lamp stands stable and secure and is a real eye-catcher in any room, on the balcony or in the garden. Thanks to the handle, it can also be hung up or carried – ideal for use in the tent or on a night-time stroll.
Two colour temperatures
Kiruna Jord offers a choice between cool white and warm white light, so you can create the right atmosphere for many different situations. The setting is easily changed by pressing the control button.
Stepless dimming
The brightness can be adjusted steplessly from 5 % to 100 % by turning the control button. Depending on the settings, a fully charged lamp can provide light for up to 200 hours.
Robust and protected
The lamp is robust and splash-proof to IPX4. The plastic housing and steel frame are finished in classic black in keeping with its mining inspiration, while the bamboo base adds a stylish visual accent.
Complete with accessories
By avoiding disposable batteries, less waste is produced – a big plus in our view. Two rechargeable batteries, a matching USB charging cable and an instruction manual are all included.
