Steep-wall tent design
The Skandika Hurricane 12 Sleeper Protect offers plenty of headroom, and the almost vertical side walls allow you to make the most of the floor space. Ideal for holidays with family, friends or larger groups.
Fully sewn-in groundsheet
The fully sewn-in groundsheet provides effective protection from draughts and unwanted creepy-crawlies. Mosquito mesh on all entrances and ventilation openings also keeps flying insects out, even when the doors are open.
Skandika Sleeper Technology
On this tent, a special coating has been applied to the outer tent around the black sleeping cabins, blocking almost 100% of sunlight. Want to sleep longer in the morning, get the kids to bed earlier or enjoy an afternoon nap? No problem at all in these darkened bedrooms.
Clever light points
Small PVC windows in the tent walls and smart crescent-shaped openings positioned in the sleeping cabins let in a little extra light when needed. The crescent openings can easily be opened and closed with a zip.
Stable and weatherproof
The combination of steel and fibreglass poles provides excellent stability. The outer tent has a 5,000 mm water column and high-quality taped seams, making the Hurricane 12 Sleeper Protect a tent that can handle wind and rain with ease.
Flexible layout
Two large sleeping cabins with optional dividers offer maximum flexibility and privacy for up to 12 people. If not all sleeping spaces are needed, the cabins can be used as extra storage or even removed individually to increase the living area.
Good ventilation
Weather-protected ventilation openings and mesh inserts on the windows ensure good airflow inside the tent. This keeps the climate comfortable even when the doors are closed and helps to reduce condensation.
Privacy
Each of the large 6-person sleeping cabins can be divided, using the optional divider, into two sections measuring 210 × 240 cm and 210 × 140 cm for 4 and 2 people respectively. The cabin entrances are fitted with mosquito mesh.
Practical extras
This family tent offers lots of practical extras such as organiser pockets, a ceiling hook for a camping lamp and a cable entry point. Large PVC windows and two opposite doors with small canopies let plenty of light into the living area.
