Product Description
The skandika Korsika 9 Sleeper dome tent is a large group tent for up to 9 people. This space miracle now comes in a fresh new colour combination and is equipped with skandika Sleeper Technology. With three separate sleeping cabins for up to 3 people each and a large central living area, the Korsika 9 Sleeper is ideal for big families and groups of friends.
Cabins with extra privacy
The three star-shaped sleeping cabins give everyone the privacy and comfort they need, even when travelling in a larger group. Made from breathable fabric and featuring sewn-in groundsheets, the sleeping areas are well protected. Ventilation openings and mosquito mesh also help maintain a pleasant climate inside each cabin.
skandika Sleeper Technology
A special coating on the outer tent in the cabin areas absorbs almost 100% of sunlight. Want to sleep in, put the kids to bed early or grab a proper midday nap? No problem. In this model, the cabin doors are not coated in black, so the cabins stay nicely dark but not pitch black – often more comfortable, especially for children.
Bright, welcoming living area
Thanks to two triangular PVC windows right beside the main entrance and two large film-and-mesh windows in the living room, the central area is bright, friendly and perfect as a sheltered communal space when the weather keeps you inside. All windows can be fully darkened for privacy and weather protection.
Plenty of headroom
The large central living area links all three cabins and forms the heart of the tent for shared meals, games and relaxing together. With a standing height of 200 cm, even taller campers can move around comfortably. A matching waterproof groundsheet for this central space is included.
Extra space to spread out
The enlarged living room and the extended entrance area make the Korsika 9 Sleeper a great choice for up to 9 people who need extra storage for luggage or camping furniture. The front section is also particularly handy for keeping muddy boots and wet gear out of the sleeping areas.
Protection from the sun
The outer tent fabric has a UV protection factor of 30+. This special treatment helps prevent the material from becoming brittle or cracked over time and significantly increases the tent’s lifespan. With the two included steel poles, the entrance door can also be set up as a sun canopy to provide shade at the front of the tent.
Weatherproof and stable
In poor weather, the high 5,000 mm water column and quality seam sealing ensure the interior stays dry. The strong yet flexible fibreglass poles stand up well to stronger winds, while reflective guy lines help prevent trips and stumbles in the dark.
Clever details
Thoughtful touches add to the comfort of this tent. Colour-coded poles make pitching more intuitive, and two large organiser pockets beneath the windows offer secure storage for important bits and pieces. Under the central dome you’ll also find a hook for hanging a camping lamp.
For family and friends
The Korsika 9 Sleeper is perfect for large families and groups of friends, but also a great option for smaller groups who simply enjoy having more space and freedom to move. After your trip, the robust carry bag makes transport easy and keeps everything clean and ready for your next outdoor adventure.
