The skandika Hafslo Sleeper Protect tents are cleverly designed tunnel tents packed with smart features. They pitch quickly and easily, so even complete camping beginners can enjoy exciting outdoor adventures without having to give up comfort. We’ve now expanded our Hafslo range with an XL version of the 5-person tent, offering a significantly larger living area for more room to move and extra flexibility on the campsite.

Skandika Sleeper Technology
The outer tent is specially coated in the sleeping area so it absorbs almost 100% of sunlight. Enjoy a lie-in, put the kids to bed earlier, or sneak in a midday nap – the darkened bedroom makes it all easy and much more comfortable.
Flexible sleeping cabin
When needed, the dark sleeping cabin can be divided with a roll-up partition to create two separate sleeping areas. For added flexibility, both cabin doors are double-layered with mosquito mesh and opaque tent fabric, ensuring fresh air circulation when you want it and privacy when you need it.
Two entrances
The two entrances are a real bonus on the Hafslo 5 XL Sleeper Protect. No matter which way the wind is blowing, you can always use a sheltered access. The side door can also be quickly turned into a large sun canopy using the two included upright poles – perfect for extra shade and covered outdoor space.
All-round protection with Easy Entry
A fully sewn-in groundsheet and mosquito mesh on both entrance doors protect you from draughts, damp ground, and annoying insects. With the front door open, the groundsheet can be folded flat to remove the usual doorstep trip hazard – a clever safety detail, especially for kids.
Canopy on the front wall
The living area is extended by the fixed front canopy with sunshade, creating a sheltered, shaded outdoor space. It’s a lovely spot to relax in good weather and a cosy retreat on warm summer evenings, while the entrance door itself stays well protected from rain and sun.
Clever windows
Three large side windows keep the interior bright even with the doors closed. The outer covers can be closed fully for weather protection or pegged out at an angle. With clear film at the bottom and mosquito mesh at the top, the side windows always provide a good mix of light and ventilation.
Comfortable and inviting
Large panoramic windows in the front wall create a pleasant, airy atmosphere inside the tent. Made from clear film with mesh inserts in the upper section, they ensure plenty of fresh air while keeping insects out. All front windows also come with blinds so you can darken the space whenever you like.
Reliable weather protection
Sturdy fibreglass poles, reinforced with steel, and a 5,000 mm water column keep the tent stable and dry in strong wind and heavy rain. The tent fabric offers UV protection of UPF 50+, helping to prevent the outer material from becoming brittle or cracked under strong sunlight and making it more durable over time.
Well thought-out features
Organizer pockets help even the messiest campers keep track of their gear, while practical ceiling hooks let you hang camping lights in the living area and bedroom. Weather-protected cable openings in the outer tent and sleeping cabin make it easy to run power where you need it.
