With its clean white/grey design, high-quality finish and many practical details, the Skandika Simo 4 Protect is perfect for friends and families who want to set up their holiday base quickly and without any fuss.
Sewn-in groundsheet
This spacious tent offers over 11 m² of space with a fully sewn-in groundsheet and a standing height of 190 cm. It’s ideal for families and friends who want fantastic outdoor adventures without spending ages pitching their tent.
All-round protection
The sewn-in groundsheet and mosquito mesh on all doors and windows provide excellent protection not only from annoying insects, but also from rising damp and draughts.
Darkened sleeping cabin
The outer tent is silver-coated in the area of the sleeping cabin. While this doesn’t quite reach the full darkening level of Skandika Sleeper technology, it does noticeably darken the cabin without affecting fresh air circulation, helping you sleep more restfully.
Practical layout
The generously sized sleeping cabin is located at the rear of the tent and offers space for up to 4 people. The front area is perfect for relaxing, as a sheltered retreat in bad weather or even as an extra sleeping space for surprise guests.
Practical sun canopy
This tent offers plenty of flexibility with its three entrances, all fitted with mosquito mesh. Using the 2 supplied steel poles, either of the side doors can be turned into a shade-giving sun canopy – depending on the time of day and the position of the sun.
Plenty of windows
Two combination windows with clear film and mosquito mesh plus two additional clear windows in the living area let in lots of daylight, so the inside of the tent feels bright and welcoming even with the doors closed. All windows can be darkened when needed.
Well equipped
Organizer pockets in the cabin keep all those small items close to hand at night. Weather-protected permanent vents provide a constant supply of fresh air, and a practical hook on the ceiling lets you hang a camping lantern. A matching carry bag and repair kit are also included.
Fully waterproof
Shatterproof fibreglass poles give the tent a stable, secure structure even in strong winds. The very high 3,000 mm hydrostatic head of the PU-coated outer material, together with carefully taped seams, ensures safety and comfort even in storms and heavy rain.
