Our popular Egersund tents with fully sewn-in groundsheet now have a bigger addition to the family: the Egersund 7 XL Sleeper Protect, featuring Skandika Sleeper Technology – a special coating on the flysheet – and a darkened inner cabin. Stable, weatherproof and very comfortable, it’s an excellent choice for families camping with children or groups of friends who value comfort and quiet nights.
Plenty of space and comfort
This spacious tunnel tent sleeps up to 7 people and offers an extra-large living area for more comfort and flexibility. It’s quick to pitch and, with a generous standing height of 200 cm, gives families and groups of friends loads of room to move, relax and store their gear.
Skandika Sleeper Technology
In the cabin area, the flysheet has a special coating that absorbs almost 100% of sunlight. That means you can sleep longer in the morning, put the kids to bed earlier or enjoy a proper midday nap – the darkened bedroom keeps it pleasantly dim and much easier to rest.
Flexible sleeping cabin
For extra flexibility, the cabin can be left “open” with the mosquito mesh door so fresh air can circulate while insects stay outside. When you need more privacy, you can simply use the roll-up divider to split the cabin into two sleeping areas.
Fully sewn-in groundsheet
The Egersund 7 XL Sleeper Protect features a fully sewn-in groundsheet for all-round protection. It keeps out bad weather, draughts and rising damp – and makes sure unwelcome crawling insects stay outside, not in your sleeping bags.
Optimal weather protection
Robust fibreglass poles and a 5,000 mm waterproof rating on the flysheet protect you reliably in heavy rain and storms. The UPF 50+ sun protection helps prevent the outer fabric from becoming brittle or cracked under strong sunlight, making the tent more durable over time.
Two entrances
The front entrance has a practical canopy, and with the two included poles the side door can be turned into a shade-giving sun canopy. Whether at the front or the side, wherever the sun is, you can quickly create a sheltered spot to sit and relax.
Smart windows
Five PVC windows let plenty of daylight into the tent, even when the doors are closed. Three of them also have additional mosquito mesh inserts for better airflow, and all windows come with covers that can be closed for privacy or to darken the interior.
Well-equipped interior
Organizer pockets help keep the tent tidy and make it easy to find small items. A practical ceiling hook lets you hang a camping lantern, and weather-protected cable openings provide safe power access for lights, chargers or other electricals.
Comprehensive accessory pack
Despite its generous size, the tent is quick and easy to pitch thanks to colour-coded fibreglass poles and a practical shock-corded pole system. Guy lines, pegs, set-up instructions and a large carry bag are all included, so you’re ready to head off straight away.
