This version of the Kambo comes with a second sleeping cabin, giving you comfortable sleeping space for up to 8 people when you need it. If you don’t require as many beds, you can simply leave the second cabin out. Set up this way, the Skandika Kambo 8 is perfect for up to 4 people who really appreciate a large, comfortable living area.
Flexible use
The Skandika Kambo 8 is ideal for 4–8 people and can be adapted to suit your plans. Whether you want an extra sleeping cabin or prefer more open living space, the second cabin and generous central area give you plenty of freedom to set up the tent just the way you like it.
Easy to pitch
The tunnel design is not only stable and secure, it also makes pitching and taking down the tent quick and hassle-free. With just 4 fibreglass poles, the tent is up in no time and ready for any camping trip, festival or relaxed weekend in the garden.
Noticeable darkening
The outer tent is silver-coated around the rear sleeping cabin. While this doesn’t reach the full darkening level of Skandika Sleeper technology, it still creates a noticeably darker atmosphere in the rear cabin and helps you enjoy a more restful night’s sleep.
Direct access to cabins
For extra convenience, both sleeping cabins can be accessed either from the central living area or directly from outside via a second door. Each cabin has its own sewn-in groundsheet and mosquito netting on all doors, giving you well-protected, cosy sleeping spaces.
Flexible with 3 entrances
Three entrances in total and a large window provide excellent light inside the tent and allow for very good ventilation, so the interior stays fresh and comfortable. All three doors can either be rolled up and secured or turned into a sun canopy using the steel poles included.
Multi-function porch area
The front section of the tent is perfect as a living area, with space for camping furniture such as a table and chairs, plus bags and supplies. It’s a great place to eat together, relax in the evening or plan the next day’s adventures. A large removable groundsheet for the entire front area of the tent is included.
Window with blackout option
The large side window is made from clear PVC on the lower half and mosquito mesh on the upper half, ensuring good ventilation even when the doors are closed. When you want more privacy or less light, the window can be darkened as needed.
Practical extras
Like all Skandika tents, the Kambo 8 impresses not only with its look but also with plenty of practical details, including organiser pockets in the cabins, a hook for hanging a camping lamp and a handy carry bag for easy transport and storage.
