If you want a weather‑protected entrance to your tent, our Skandika Spirit sun canopy with matching telescopic poles is a perfect choice. This flexible tarp is an ideal add‑on for many of our tents – but it also works brilliantly on its own as a versatile weather shelter. Used as a porch in front of your tent, free‑standing over a seating area at a picnic, above the sandpit in the garden or as a cover for camping gear, toys or bikes – Spirit adapts easily to whatever you have planned.
Universal use
The special shape is designed to sit neatly over the entrance of many tent models. The rear edge is simply laid with a slight overlap over the top of the tent and then guyed out towards the back.
As a porch for tents
When attached to a tent, the three infinitely adjustable telescopic poles (up to 210 cm high) support the front edge of the sun canopy and create a generously sized covered entrance area.
Reinforced guy points
Reinforced metal eyelets and webbing loops at all corners, as well as along the front and rear edges, offer lots of options for pitching and guying – with or without a tent.
Many pitching options
The Spirit sun canopy can also be set up completely on its own: with the supplied telescopic poles, strung between trees or attached to posts – whatever works best for your campsite, garden or beach spot.
UV protection
With a UV protection factor of 50+, the fabric provides effective protection from strong sunlight and helps prevent the material from becoming brittle or cracked – combining protection and long‑term durability.
Rain protection
Spirit is not just for shade. With a 3,000 mm water column and sealed seams, it also offers reliable shelter from showers and changeable weather.
