The Vango Blaze Double delivers 6kW of combined cooking power through two independent 3kW stainless steel burners, each with individual high-low temperature control. This setup lets you boil water rapidly on one burner whilst simmering your evening meal on the other, eliminating the constant pan-swapping that comes with single-ring stoves. The threaded connection accepts EN417 self-sealing gas cartridges, and the included PVC hose features an auto shut-off mechanism that stops gas flow when you disconnect the cartridge. Each burner boils a litre of water in roughly four minutes under normal conditions, providing reliable heat output for everything from morning porridge to full camping dinners.
The low-to-ground design creates a stable cooking platform that's less prone to tipping on uneven pitches compared to taller stoves. Plastic feet grip well on most surfaces, whether you're cooking on a groundsheet or picnic table. The stainless steel burners resist corrosion and wipe clean after use, though they need to cool completely first. At 43cm long, 22cm wide, and weighing 1.35kg, this double burner packs down small enough to fit in your camping kitchen kit without taking up excessive boot space. You'll need adequate ventilation when cooking, as the 6kW output produces considerable heat.
