The free-standing Pitea 4 Flex Protect is the heart of this modular system and, together with the practical SUV tunnel, gives you maximum flexibility at the campsite – whether you are staying put or heading off on day trips.
Fits common SUV tailgates
The included SUV tunnel is quick to install and creates a weather-protected passage between the tent and your open tailgate – suitable for most standard SUV models.
Cleverly positioned connection points
Zips on two of the tent walls let you attach the SUV tunnel either on the side or opposite the main entrance. This allows you to choose the layout that best fits your pitch and make the most of the available space.
Free-standing tent for up to four people
With its square footprint and dome-style construction, this single-skin tent offers generous space for up to four people – or loads of room and extra comfort for two campers who like a bit more freedom to move.
Fixed front canopy with side panels
The large, fixed front canopy with side walls offers protection from sun, wind and prying eyes – ideal as a sheltered seating area or as extra storage space at the entrance for shoes, crates or camping gear.
Multi-function door with smart design
The large door under the canopy features a PVC window, mosquito net and inner blinds. You can roll it halfway towards the centre or fully to the side and secure it, depending on how much light, air and privacy you want.
Flexibly positioned tunnel
The tunnel to the vehicle is attached without tools using robust zips and reliable guy lines. You can position it either to the side of the tent or opposite the main door, depending on how you want to use your SUV and the pitch.
Direct access to the rear of the vehicle
The roll-up panoramic mosquito net window opens directly to the boot area – perfect for quick, convenient access to kit, food or your power supply without having to leave the tent.
Ideal for spontaneous trips
The tent can also be pitched completely free-standing, and your SUV stays flexible even when the tunnel is in place – simply detach, drive off for a day out, and reconnect when you return. Perfect for exploring the area during a camping holiday.

The tent fabric has a UV protection factor of 50+, helping to prevent both the tent and the tunnel from becoming brittle or cracked under strong sun. This keeps both parts usable for many seasons.
Waterproof and wind-stable
With a high waterproof rating of 5,000 mm and carefully taped seams, the Pitea 4 Flex Protect and the SUV tunnel are fully waterproof. The sturdy fibreglass poles keep the tent stable, even when the wind picks up.
