The skandika Vejers Air Protect is a spacious drive-away awning with skandika Air-Rise Technology, offering a very comfortable and hassle-free camping experience. You don’t need a full motorhome to enjoy big adventures outdoors – panel vans and minivans with a side sliding door are turned into real holiday homes with the Vejers Air Protect, giving you a cosy living area and plenty of extra space.
Air tent with skandika Air-Rise Technology
The Air-Rise principle is so straightforward that even kids can help: unpack, attach, inflate, tension – and your holiday can begin. A high-quality air pump is included; it simply pushes onto the valves of the air beams and twists to lock. As you pump, the Vejers stands up by itself.
Extra storage space in the tunnel
The connecting tunnel links directly to the vehicle and is very easy to attach. This tunnel area doubles as a protected storage space for bags, kit or food supplies and can be accessed directly via two side doors, so you don’t have to walk through the whole awning every time.
Flexible attachment options
You can attach the awning neatly to your van using the awning rail, or secure it with the hook-and-loop straps to a roof rack or roof rails. For campers with a pop-top roof, the included metal pole with clamps is used to fix the tunnel in place.
Protection and stability in all weathers
This single-skin air tent has a 3,000 mm water column, and in the living area four additional inflatable cross beams, attached between the main beams with hook-and-loop straps, provide extra rigidity and stability. The fully sewn-in groundsheet keeps out draughts and crawling insects and helps the interior stay dry.
Large living area with double front door
The main entrance is in the front wall and consists of two separate doors. A small canopy above the entrance offers shade and protects against rain. The generous living area is ideal for four people, with plenty of room for luggage and camping furniture.
Side entrance with sun canopy option
On the side there is an additional entrance to the living area, fitted with mosquito mesh to keep insects out while allowing fresh air in. This door can be rolled up or set up as a sun canopy using the supplied steel poles to create a shaded side entrance.
Panoramic windows for light and views
A large panoramic side window made from clear film, together with two further clear windows in the front doors, lets in plenty of daylight and creates a bright, welcoming atmosphere inside. All windows and doors can be darkened when you want more privacy or a bit of shade.
Stand-alone use without the vehicle
Vejers Air Protect can stand completely on its own, so you can take the vehicle out for day trips without having to pack the awning away. Once pitched according to the instructions, it is easy to disconnect from the van, and an additional zip at the rear of the awning allows you to close off the tunnel section fully.
Practical details for extra comfort
Thoughtful features make everyday camping easier: ventilation openings for continuous airflow, a hook for hanging a camping lamp, a weather-protected cable entry for mains hook-up and a robust carry and storage bag for transport.
