The skandika Isken 5 Sleeper Protect is part of the Isken range of cleverly designed tunnel tents that combine comfort, practicality and reliable weather protection. Whether you are away with family and kids or camping with friends, the optional divider in the sleeping cabin gives you flexible privacy options. The enlarged entrance area on this 5-person model also offers extra room to move and plenty of space for camping furniture and gear.
Protect version
The fully sewn-in groundsheet gives you complete protection from damp ground, insects and draughts. Together with the insect mesh on the main door, cabin door and windows, it forms a smart protection system that keeps the inside dry, snug and comfortable – even on longer stays.
Canopy with side walls
The compact front canopy with gently angled side walls shields the entrance from wind and rain and creates a shaded spot on sunny days. This protected zone is ideal for leaving shoes, wet jackets and muddy equipment outside the main living area.
Smart window system
The four side windows combine mesh panels and clear PVC, giving you maximum flexibility in different weather. They can be completely darkened from the outside, or just across the upper mesh section, so you still get daylight while staying sheltered.
Panoramic windows
The clever window layout makes the living area feel spacious, bright and welcoming. Two triangular PVC windows with interior blinds next to the main entrance give you a great view of your surroundings and let you control light levels while keeping your privacy when you need it.
skandika Sleeper technology
The special coating on the outer fabric absorbs almost all incoming sunlight, so the sleeping cabin stays noticeably darker. You can sleep longer in the morning and properly recharge. For extra flexibility, you can also close the cabin using just the mesh door, allowing fresh air to flow while stopping it from getting too dark inside.
Weatherproof with UV protection
With a waterproof rating of 3000 mm, the durable outer tent reliably keeps out heavy rain. The built-in UV protection of UPF 50+ is especially useful on bright days and helps stop the tent heating up too quickly. A special fabric treatment also improves durability and extends the life of the tent.
Thought-out ventilation system
A weather-protected vent at the back of the tent, together with mesh panels on the rear wall of the sleeping cabin, ensures constant airflow and a pleasant climate inside. Even on hot summer days, the tent stays better ventilated and more comfortable for sleeping and relaxing.
Quick and easy pitch
Thanks to the tunnel design and colour-coded poles, the tent is quick and straightforward to pitch. Even less experienced campers can set it up in no time. The fibreglass pole system combines stability and flexibility with low weight and keeps the tent secure, even in stronger winds.
