The ABUS Shield XPlus 5755L NR is a high-quality frame lock that brings the industry-leading ABUS XPlus key system to frame locks for the first time. Thanks to the XPlus system, this frame lock can be ordered with the same key as other XPlus locks you already own — such as the ABUS Granit XPlus U-lock, folding lock, or chain lock. This means you only need a single key for all your ABUS security products, without compromising on protection.
Robust construction for extra-wide tyres and e-bikes
The Shield XPlus 5755L NR is made from specially hardened steel. The 8.5 mm thick shackle, the housing and all load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism are constructed from this patented hardened steel alloy. With an extra-wide inner diameter of 78 mm, the lock is also suitable for bikes with tyres wider than 70 mm and for wheels with balloon tyres — ideal for the new generation of e-bikes and cargo bikes. The frame lock is permanently mounted to the rear fork and serves as a reliable immobiliser against unauthorised use.
Certified and part of the ABUS OneKey system
This frame lock carries an ABUS security level of 9 and the ART 2 certification, meaning it is recognised as a solid base level of protection by most insurers. The NR (Non Key Retaining) variant allows the key to be removed from the lock when it is open. The lock features a plug-in opening for an additional chain (such as the ABUS 6KS), making it easy to further increase security. Includes an ABUS CodeCard for ordering additional keys or keyed alike versions.
