Our DARCY women's insulated jacket is based on a model that has been proven over the last years. It stands out with several features that you will undoubtedly appreciate as a climber. The two-way YKK zipper makes the jacket ideal for use when you don't want to freeze before your partner reaches the selected line. The jacket's outer material is windproof and also has a waterproof adjustment. The used insulation in the form of DuPont's Sorona has also great thermal properties and leaves a minimalgreen footprint! We think about not only the rocks but also about outdoors, the surroundings, and our planet.
The combination of duck feathers and synthetic fibre ensures a much lower weight and the jacket is perfectly packable plus portable. We placed the feather part on the inside part of jacket to keep you nice and warm. Synthetic part is on the outside, which has the effect of better usability in rain and wet surroundings. Plus, it protects the feather from soaking through and ensures you the maximum thermal comfort!
DARCY jacket comes with a compression cover that you can comfortably stuff it into and use a folded jacket instead of a head pillow if you're spending the cozy evening somewhere in a bivvy under the rock, close to a campfire underneath the night starts or even in your climber van.
For greater freedom of movement of your hands, we have placed stretch wedges in the armpits. The Darcy has two side pockets and one chest pocket, as well as mesh pockets inside to fit your climbing shoes. And finally, our time-tested classic: a climbing grade conversion chart, so you don't have to count on fingers like in prehistoric times...
