Thanks to the rim from the latest generation of DT Swiss Downhill rims, combined with the proven 370 hub, this wheel is built for many laps in the bike park. The 30 mm inner rim width provides a large tire volume, which helps you find the best grip – both on rooty sections of the downhill trail and on the jump line! If a spoke breaks during intense use, a replacement can be found practically anywhere, because DT Swiss developers rely on durable spokes. DT competition® with the classic J-bend spoke head on the F 1900 CLASSIC. Equipped this way, you can even leave the brake open. Technologies: • TUBELESS: All DT Swiss wheels are tubeless ready. DT Swiss rim profiles are specifically designed for tubeless use. The rim profile makes mounting the right tire easy and ensures a perfect fit. The tubeless rim system consists of DT Swiss tubeless-ready rim tape for sealing and a DT Swiss tubeless valve with a length that matches the rim. When using tubeless-ready tires, a compatible sealant must be used. However, a conventional tire and tube combination can also be used. • BEARINGS: Based on years of experience, DT Swiss uses only durable cartridge bearings without bearing clearance adjustment. DT Swiss hubs are designed to have optimal axial and radial bearing clearance when properly mounted. Correct bearing preload to compensate for the clamping force of the wheel clamping system is the basis for a play-free hub with minimal friction.• PRO LOCK®:DT Pro Lock® prevents the spoke-nipple connection from loosening. In the Pro Lock® process, a special two-component glue is injected into the nipple thread, enabling extremely durable wheel designs. By screwing the nipple into the spoke, the glue is activated and then fully hardens within a few hours. Re-centring the wheel is possible, but each time this will slightly reduce the adhesive force.
