Folding design for varied terrain
The EB8 combines a low-step folding frame with 20 x 4.0-inch fat tyres. It is suitable for daily commuting, leisure rides and varied surfaces while remaining easier to transport and store when folded.
Responsive torque-sensor assistance
The 250W rear-wheel motor works with a torque sensor that detects pedalling force and adjusts the assistance accordingly. This provides smooth and responsive support while helping to use battery power efficiently.
Five assistance levels are available, corresponding to assisted speeds of approximately 6, 10, 15, 20 and 25km/h. The maximum assisted speed is limited to 25km/h.
Hidden 48V 15Ah battery
The 48V 15Ah battery is integrated into the frame for a clean appearance and better protection. Under suitable test conditions, the pedal-assisted range can exceed 90 miles, equivalent to approximately 144km. Actual range varies according to rider weight, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure and assistance level.
Hydraulic braking and front suspension
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth and responsive braking. The integrated electronic motor cut-off interrupts assistance when braking. The front suspension fork helps absorb shocks and vibrations on uneven surfaces.
Connected display and reliable transmission
The centrally positioned display shows key riding information and connects to the Volotix app. Shimano 7-speed gearing allows the rider to select a suitable gear for different routes.
The EB8 also includes front and rear lights, mudguards and a rear rack with a maximum load of 25kg. Assembly is straightforward using the supplied components.
