BKSR-0117 - Torqtite bottom bracket, stainless steel, radial bearings for PF30 frames and BB30/386 cranksets. Original Enduro, this Torqtite bottom bracket uses 440C stainless steel radial bearings pressed into precision machined aluminum Torqtite cups that simply slip into the bottom bracket shell for simple, secure, squeak-free installation into non-threaded/press-fit bottom brackets. All Enduro bottom brackets are manufactured to the highest standards atEnduro Bearings' production facility in California, USA. This complete bottom bracket features 440C stainless steel balls and races to ensure long life and superior corrosion resistance in less than ideal applications and environments. Although stainless steel has about 20% less load carrying capacity than the standard 52100 chrome steel used in most of our bearings, 440C stainless steel is an excellent alternative for use in wet conditions, if you wash your bike often, or when sweat may be an issue. The Enduro stainless steel bearings also feature double-lip labyrinth seals (LLB) and Kluber NBU52 high-pressure grease to provide an extra level of protection against the elements.
