BD.dryâ„¢ membrane and waterproofing
The BD.dry™ membrane used in the Glissade model provides effective protection against moisture while maintaining excellent breathability, even during dynamic activity. The gloves’ waterproof properties are further enhanced by a DWR coating, which effectively repels moisture from the surface. These solutions ensure comfort even during prolonged exposure to snow or rain.
Durable Pertex® Shield material and 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation
The outer layer of the Black Diamond Glissade is made of Pertex® Shield material, which offers high mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion. 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation helps maintain an optimal temperature, effectively protecting the hands from the cold in low temperatures. The use of Kevlar® fibers further increases resistance to damage, especially in high-wear areas of the palms.
Ergonomics and materials
The Glissade model features a flexible five-finger construction that provides freedom of movement and an excellent fit. The use of PFC-free materials and appropriate reinforcements enhances both user comfort and environmental responsibility.
