    Directions for use

Hand paddles are an essential part of any swimmer’s equipment for working on the upper body (arms, shoulders, pectorals, back muscles) and improving arm movement.

Here are a few tips to make the most of them:
    - Choose the right sized hand paddles. If this is your first time, do not choose a size that is too big.
    - Increase your efforts gradually. This is essential to protect your shoulders and make lasting progress.

Why are the hand paddles slipping when you swim?

Do your hand paddles move? This information will help you to make progress!
If the paddles tend to “pop off” your hands, then your movement can be improved. Concentrate on your sensations and how your hands or forearms come into contact with the water. You will soon find the ideal position for a more efficient and powerful stroke.

    QUICK’IN system

The patented and exclusive QUICK’IN system was designed and developed to make paddles easier to put on. It consists of a polypropylene wing and a piece of silicone attached under the surface of the paddles.

The latter lets you adjust the height of the wing by pressing upwards, for optimal comfort and to keep the paddles in place while swimming.

How to use your hand paddles

There are two options available to you:
1 - Fasten the straps of your paddles around your wrists to get the most stability. This is the most recommended when beginning to use them.
2 - As you gain more experience, you can use the hand paddles without the wrist straps. The benefits? To help you feel your contact with the water better and find the right movement (because if you make the wrong move, the paddles could slip off of your hands).

    Safety

Decathlon swimming hand paddles have a soft plastic contour to prevent injury in the event of contact in the pool.
