    How waterproof is a swimming cap?

    The level of tightness varies according to the model:
    - The mesh cap is not at all watertight and lets the water in.
    - The silicone mesh cap is made of watertight pieces, but the water passes through the seams, offering better protection against splashing water.
    - The material of the silicone cap offers the best watertightness.

    No swim cap is 100% waterproof!
    Water seeps under the cap, especially around the ears.
