    Why use a groundsheet?

    A groundsheet increases the lifetime of your tent by reducing the abrasion and wear and tear on the bedroom.
    It also reduces the effects of condensation by limiting rising damp from the ground.
    Finally, it increases the usable space inside the tent and makes the porch more comfortable (keeps it dry and protected from ground).

    And for even more versatility!

    Using a groundsheet enables you to pitch your tent in tarp mode without using the bedroom. You can set off even lighter!
